Elie Beach (Dog friendly)
3 miles – approx. 10-minute drive
Award winning golden sands overlooking the Firth of Forth. Lots to do for all the family including Elie Water Sports and close by eateries.
Secret Bunker
10 miles – approx. 20-minute drive
Scotland’s best kept secret for 40 years. Hidden beneath an innocent Scottish farmhouse, had there been a nuclear war, this is where Scotland would have been governed from within.
May Island
6.6 miles – approx. 15-minute drive
Sailing everyday (weather permitting) from the 1st April until the 30th September*, the May Princess will take you on a 5-hour trip to the May Island, 5 miles off the Fife coast. 2-3 hours onshore the island gives you plenty of time to explore and observe the different wildlife.

Scottish Fisheries Museum
6.6 miles – approx. 15-minute drive
Situated in Anstruther, the museum tells the story of fishing communities throughout the ages, with many different collections, suitable for all ages.
Kingsbarns Distillery
11 miles – approx. 25-minute drive
Home to both Darnley’s Gin and Kingsbarns Whisky, the Distillery and visitor centre offers tours as well as a café and gift shop.
St Andrews Cathedral
11.5 miles – approx. 25-minute drive
Visit what remains of Scotland’s largest church and climb to the top of St Rule’s Tower for magnificent views of St Andrews and beyond. The graves of many notable people buried in the graveyard, including both Young and Old Tom Morris.

St Andrews Aquarium
12 miles – approx. 30-minute drive
Fish, sharks, meerkats and penguins are only some of the many animals you will find here. Open 7 days a week, you can even have a shot of feeding the penguins.
St Andrews Botanic Gardens
10.5 miles – approx. 22-minute drive
Nestled in the centre of the town, the gardens have an array of plants and flowers among their vast grounds. Ideal for a casual stroll.
Local Golf Attractions
Fife is one of the most sought-after golfing destinations in the world and it’s easy to see why. With around 50 courses in Fife alone, you will be spoilt for choice.
St Andrews has 7 public golf courses, all of which are part of St Andrews links. Information on these courses, including the infamous Old Course can be found here:
There are several well-known golf-courses all within a half-hour drive from the estate, these include; Elie, Anstruther, Crail, Kingsbarns, Charleton near Colinsburgh and Leven Links.
The Scottish Deer Centre
16 miles – approx. 30 minute drive
Learn about animals with daily feeding talks, tours and Falconry shows. A great family day out!
Fife Coastal Path
Stretching for 117 miles from the Firth of Forth in the south, to the Firth of Tay in the north the path can be done in one go or enjoyed in sections from town to town.
