Join us at Kilconquhar Castle Estate for New Year’s Eve this year and enjoy our Hogmanay party on the 31st and our other events taking place over the new year period.  You don’t need to stay on the estate to join in the fun, off-site guests are always welcome to join us for dining and our events.


On top of our dining events the leisure team will also have a fun packed programme in place for the kids to enjoy during their stay from arts and crafts, family sport activities to Zorbing in the swimming pool there will be something for everyone.


We have a great selection of accommodation available from hotel rooms for 2 to family sized villas sleeping up to 8.  Hogmanay is one of our busiest times of year, if you would like to join us make sure you booked well in advance.

New Year Events


Hot Winter Buffet - 30th December

The team in the White Cockade Bistro will be starting of the festive dining with a hot winters buffet that is suitable for all ages.  Why not save on the cooking and join them from 6.30 pm.  We strongly advice booking in advance directly with White Cockade to avoid disappointment.

Hogmanay Dinner, The Lindsay Room - Sold Out

Start of your Hogmanay celebrations with a sumptuous 4 course dinner served in the Lindsay Room at 7.30 pm.  The dinner will be served with a half bottle of wine per guest.  Following dinner all guests will be welcomed to the party in the marquee.  Bookings for the dinner can be placed via the Reservations Office please see below for contact details.  A 25% deposit will be charged upon booking, full payment for the lunch will be required 28 days prior to the date of arrival.  Children must be booked in advance but will be charged at the time of dining dependant on the food chosen.


*The Lindsay Room is now fully booked, a limited number of tables are available in the White Cockade Bistro on the Hogmanay Menu.

Hogmanay Party

From 9.00 pm the marquee will open with the ceiling lights glittering and the DJ playing the music from through the decades  with a couple of Ceilidh dances ready for you to dance the night away into 2018.  The marquee party is a family event for all ages.  The price includes a hot bowl of stovies or pasta on arrival served with garlic break and a glass of fizz at the bells.   All guests that have attend the Hogmanay dinner will be invited free of charge to the marquee.

New Years Breakfast - 26th December

There is no better aroma in the morning than the smell of freshly cooked bacon and eggs with brewed coffee and warm toast.  The Bistro will be serving up cooked breakfasts on New Years Day from 9.30 am through to 12.30 pm.  Bookings can be placed with the White Cockade Bistro team directly.  No deposit is required for your booking.


Race Night - 1st January

Get your bets ready and go!!  Join us for race night on the 1st January from 9pm, the event is good family fun for all ages.  There is no charge or need to pre book for the event.  The White Cockade Bistro will be open as normal for evening meals on the 30th.  This is a charity event with proceeds raised from bets being donated to the Life Boat Association.

prime fillet of beef cooked pink, and set on a herb croute topped with

olive stuffed liver pate, coated in a rich Madeira wine glaze


Noissettes of Perthshire Lamb

sautéed with wild mushrooms and leek, and coated

in a Burgundy wine reduction.


Seared Breast of Gresingham Duck

Served pink and coated in a pimento, pink peppercorn

and brandy cream


Whole Dover Sole on The Bone

hot roasted and coated in a chive lemon and white wine glaze

and finished with a deep-fried spaghetti of vegetables


All served with a timbale of winter vegetable mash, lemon buttered carrots

braised red cabbage and roast rosemary potatoes.

Deposit: Bookings for the dinner and party will require a 25% non-refundable or transferable deposit of the booking total to be paid to confirm the booking.  The full balance will then be due 28 days prior to the date of the event.


Cancellations: If cancelled or modified up to 28 days before date of arrival, 25% percent of the total price of the reservation will be charged. If cancelled or modified or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
