Join us at Kilconquhar Castle Estate for a delicious Easter Sunday roast on Sunday, 5th April and enjoy a morning Easter egg hunt for the children, and a free Easter egg for every little guest.

Easter Sunday is the perfect time to bring family and friends together. Start the day with a little Easter egg hunting around the estate, and once you’ve worked up an appetite, join us for a special Easter Sunday roast. Chef will be serving a delicious menu with a few seasonal twists on traditional favourites, making it the perfect way to celebrate the day.

Little ones who join us for Easter Sunday lunch will also receive an Easter egg to enjoy after their meal, adding a little extra sweetness to the celebration.

🐣Join the Easter Egg Hunt🐣

The estate grounds will be full of Easter excitement as our leisure team hosts a fun Easter egg hunt starting at 11:30am. Children of all ages are welcome to take part and search the grounds for the eggs hidden by the Easter Bunny.

There is a small participation fee of £7.00 per child, and spaces can be booked online in advance.

Of course, the Easter Bunny needs to know just how many eggs to hide, so bookings for the Easter egg hunt will close on 3rd April.

🥬Easter Sunday Lunch - a Delicious Family Roast🥬

After a morning of Easter egg hunting, why not settle in and enjoy a relaxed Easter Sunday lunch in Fife, at Kilconquhar Castle Estate.

Lunch will be served from 12:30pm to 4:00pm in the Lindsay Room, the perfect setting to gather with family and friends. Guests bringing dogs are very welcome too – and lunch can be enjoyed in the White Cockade Bistro, where four-legged companions can join you.

Our chef has created a seasonal menu featuring dishes such as Spring Pea & Mint Soup or Stornoway Black Pudding Fritters to start, followed by mains including Roast Rump of Scottish Lamb with dauphinoise potatoes and honey roasted vegetables, Pan Roasted North Sea Cod, or a comforting Wild Mushroom & Leek Pie.

To finish, enjoy a sweet Easter treat with Hot Cross Bun Bread & Butter Pudding or a Mini Egg Chocolate Cheesecake.

Spring Pea & Mint Soup

Velvety soup of garden peas and fresh mint, served with homemade bread and butter.

Stornoway Black Pudding Fritters

Crispy fritters of Stornoway black pudding served with a smooth Drambuie cream sauce.

Main Courses

Roast Rump of Scottish Lamb (served pink)

Garlic and rosemary roasted lamb rump with dauphinoise potatoes, honey-roasted seasonal vegetables and a rich red wine jus.

Pan-Roasted Cod

North Sea cod served with crushed chive potatoes, buttered samphire and a light lemon beurre blanc.

Wild Mushroom & Leek Pie

Creamy wild mushrooms and leeks in a golden pastry crust, served with creamed potatoes and honey-roasted vegetables.

Hot Cross Bun Bread & Butter Pudding

A warm spiced pudding made with toasted hot cross buns, served with vanilla custard.

Mini Egg Chocolate Cheesecake

Rich chocolate cheesecake with crushed Mini Eggs and Chantilly cream.

Easter Sunday is always a popular occasion for families to gather, so we recommend booking your table in advance to avoid disappointment.

A £10 per person card pre-authorisation will be taken when booking. This will only be charged for late cancellations made within 48 hours of the event (after 12pm on 3rd April), no-shows, or reductions in party size. Cancellations must be made by email to the address listed below

If you are not joining us for lunch but would still like to take part in the Easter egg hunt, please book your place online.

A £7 per child card pre-authorisation will be taken when booking to secure your place. Payment can be made on the day.

The card will only be charged for cancellations made after 12pm on 3rd April or in the event of a no-show. Cancellations must be made by email to the address listed below

If the weather is particularly poor, we will of course accept cancellations on the day in the event of rain or particularly cold conditions.
